Graffeo & Associates was privileged to host to Sir Richard J. Roberts, Nobel Laureate (in Physiology or Medicine, 1993) during his recent visit to Kuwait.
As part of his mission to promote Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Graffeo hosted a visit to Kuwait by Sir Richard Roberts, Nobel Laureate (in Physiology or Medicine, 1993). Sir Roberts visited the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) where he presented a lecture on “Why I love Bacteria” followed by visits to the Dasman Diabetes Center and the Scientific Center. He spent the day at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) where he lectured on “The Future of Science” and had fruitful discussions about scientific collaborations between KISR and Northeastern University. Finally, he gave an inspirational presentation on “My Path to the Nobel Prize” to students and faculty at the American University of Kuwait (AUK).
