Dr. Tadros has over 40 years of experience in international and economic development. He served in senior positions at the World Bank Headquarters and field offices in South Asia (India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka), East Asia (Myanmar (Burma)), Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
As the World Bank Resident Representative in the Sudan, Dr. Tadros led, managed and maintained an active dialogue with the Sudanese Government and the donors during a period of economic and Social Reform.
As a Senior Advisor, Dr. Tadros was a key member of the initial team that was responsible for the establishment of the Global Coalition for Africa (GCA) working with Finance, Economy and Planning Ministers in Sub-Saharan Africa on the design and implementation of economic reform and structural adjustment programs.
As the manager of the World Bank Technical Cooperation Program for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries, Dr. Tadros provided technical and policy advice to policymakers in the GCC Countries.
As a Senior Advisor, following retirement from the World Bank, to the Director General of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) spearheading a major project in capacity building for the ministry of Planning. He led an initiative to commercialize proven technology through the establishment of a Technology Venture Capital Fund. He was a member of the team working with the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Work Foundation (WF) on Kuwait and the Knowledge Economy initiative.
As a Senior Advisor, Dr. Tadros advised three Kuwait Finance Ministers and served as a member of several senior advisory groups to Kuwait Finance Ministers working on the design and implementation of Kuwait’s Economic Reform Program; Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP); the Kuwait Education Indicators and Assessment Project (KEIAP); and Kuwait’ Five Year Development Plan (2006/07-2010/11).
As a Global Consultant, Dr. Tadros was a member of the Review Panel for the evaluation of programs and projects for the Strategic Plan (2012-2016) of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS)
